Virtual Choir Video October 2020

CRSP singers convened in their own homes and individually recorded their parts for this beautiful Ave Maria from the fifteenth century. It was quite something to learn this new technology. Not only did we have to get used to the sound of our own voice, separated from others' voices and particularly other parts, but there were concerns about whether we were looking at the camera, whether the laptop was going to fall from its perch, or whether the background was tidy enough. Now, having seen how all our individual parts have come together to produce the Renaissance sound we so love, we are eager for the next choir video, coming in November to this same station!

About the Choir: Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the CRSP

To mark our 50th Anniversary, our Choir commissioned this special video in 2019. Coronavirus delayed the 50th Anniversary performance, which was meant to take place March 2020, so the 50th Anniversary season will now extend to two years, 2019-2021.
